Just Magnolia & Hanglar Stanglar challenge ...

I always get excited when someone asks me to be a guest designer for their Design Team, even more so when it involves making really pretty things. Today I am one of the guest designers for Just Magnolia & Hanglar Stanglar challenge blog and the other guest designer is someone I know very well - my Mum! and we're sponsoring the challenge too with our regular prize sponsorship from the Ribbon Girl. The challenge this week is to create a card using doilies.

The tulle, ricrac, lace and pearl swirls are all from Ribbon Girl and I added little dots of liquid pearls on her ears and shoes to represent ear rings and buttons also from Ribbon Girl.

The gorgeous papers - and they are really gorgeous! - are from 3D Jean, I added a Papertrey Ink doilie die cut and the sentiment stamp is from Whimsy I think (I'm not sure about this though)

Thank you Just Magnolia & Hanglar Stanglar - I loved making my card for you and now I'm off to prepare for even more excitement because tomorrow morning I am teaching my first card class - so I am both excited and absolutley terrified at the same time!!

Beep Beep Beep ...

I love making shaped cards and when I saw the newest Nitwit Collections kit I knew that those diggers and trucks had to be made into shaped birthday cards for a few little boys that I know

I just used the Diggers 'n Dozers kit and added some stripey buttons from Ribbon Girl and numbers cut with Papertrey Ink number dies

Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge ...

It is the 16th Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge today and the colours are pink, brown and cream.  If you would like to win this selection of loveliness together with a £10 voucher to spend at Lili Of The Valley then pop over to the Ribbon Girl blog and check out the challenge

This is my card, I used a gorgeous, new to me, Magnolia stamp together with lots of lace, silk ribbon, tulle and hat pins all from Ribbon Girl. The paper is Making Memories I think and is old but seemed to work well with this little Tilda

I am also entering this into Deep Ocean (pink and brown) challenge and Die-ing For A Challenge (anything goes with a die cut)

Short and sweet today, have to go and do a stack of school work ready for the new term starting tomorrow

Birthday Card ...

I was given 4 new Sugar Nellie stamps as part of my Christmas present and I've used one of them for my Papertake Weekly challenge card this week.

I love her folded arms attitude and her little froggy pal!

The challenge at Papertake Weekly is a sketch and is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp
